Senior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and experienced accountant and future advisor to join our dynamic team.

To be considered, you will have unrestricted working rights in Australia. You will have completed your Bachelor of Commerce/Business or Accounting Degree, have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role and already undertaking, or willing to undertake the CA program.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director you will manage a client base comprising predominantly of Small to Medium Enterprises.   You will be responsible for their Taxation, Compliance and Business Advisory requirements.  You will liaise directly with clients and look to provide broader advice to recognise potential issues or business opportunities.

​

The ideal candidate is skilled at client relationship building and working collaboratively with both clients and team to deliver exceptional client service. Competent in the consulting process, you are able to analyse problems, design and implement practical solutions and manage projects for quality and profitability. 

You will be responsible for mentoring more junior employees to develop competent and self-sufficient accounting professionals. You will continually build and share knowledge, and engage in ongoing personal career growth. Committed to the firm’s future, you will exhibit and promote team work, ensuring processes used for client work are in line with ethical standards and procedural requirements.
